Lum's Char-Siu Sauce has been Hawaii's favorite
marinade since 1951.  It is in the top half-percentile
of all sauces, and sooo easy to use....just marinate
spare ribs or short ribs overnight, then bake at 325F
for about 25 minutes on each side.  Also delicious on chicken, pork, or barbeque.  Perfect for busy working
folks to marinate the day before, then just bake the next evening...a delicious main dish in less than an hour!

This chinese marinade was invented by Mr. On Chew
Lum in 1951. The word "char" means fire, and "siu"
means skewer which described how char-siu was
originally cooked.   Mr. Lum had a small butcher shop in
Kapahulu, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, and sold more
spare ribs than several supermarket chains combined!
